About the Doctor
Dr. Dabholkar has lived and worked as a Family Physician in the Tri-Cities for over 20 years, with clinical practice across primary care, urgent care, hospital, and community health settings. On completing her two-year Family Medicine residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she joined Gain Medical Centre in Coquitlam, BC and worked there until it closed in 2023. Since then, she’s been part of Elgin Medical Clinic, now a branch of Kanata Clinics.
She continues to provide IUD insertion and removal as well as trigger point injections (TPI) for chronic pain in the community, not limited to in-clinic patients, while working as a locum physician covering overflow appointments at this clinic. She also provides same-day urgent care at the Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC) and primary care services to youth ages 12 to 24 at Foundry Tri-Cities. She enjoys her role as a Clinical Educator at the SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, yoga, hiking, cycling, and reading when time permits.
